So in February I was part of a blog swap! I have seen blog swaps before, but I’ve never actually been a part of one. My friend at Homespired told me about the blog swap at Sweet Potato Claire , so I joined the swap for a new adventure.
Have you ever done a blog swap? It’s fun, but kinda intimidating. I mean, there are all these amazingly crafty people out there working on an amazing gift for you and you just hope that your crafts bring them as much joy!
We were given the blog address of the person we were giving to, so I was able to check out her blog and find out a little about her.
In the end, I decided to send some of my homemade goodies that I sell on my other blog at Hoot N Owl Homestead. I included a jar of soothing lavender bath salts, some coconut salt scrub, as well as some recently made home-made strawberry jelly and a crochet mason jar cozy with straw lid.
Sweet Christina posted on her blog all about my gift here.
I was so excited to see what I was going to receive as well…. and I was not let down. Nicole blogged about her gifts that she was sending to me here. It was the sweetest collection of goodies!
It was so fun to be a part of this blog swap! Matter of fact, as a result of this swap, some of the bloggers thought it would be fun to do a children’s craft swap! I signed us up! My daughter loves all things crafty! More on that swap to come!
It made me think of how we could do some sort of homeschool swap. Something centered around classical education somehow. ?? I thought maybe we could do a Grammar Stage swap and trade something to help kids in the grammar stage. Do you guys have any ideas with that?
